H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Operations Technical Specialist to support the operational readiness of the seasonal tax office network in the United States. This role entails ensuring that the offices are fully equipped and functional, providing hands-on operational, technical, and logistical support for successful office openings and daily operations.

The ideal candidate will possess basic technical knowledge and strong communication skills, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. The position requires reliable transportation to travel between office locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow direction while exercising sound judgment in a field-based environment.
• Ability to lift and move office equipment weighing up to 55 pounds or more.
• Basic technical knowledge in maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, seasonal role.
• Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup and opening of seasonal tax offices.
• Perform custodial tasks to ensure offices are ready for operation.
• Execute office setup activities including installation and compliance checks.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware issues and document incidents.
• Deliver supplies and maintain an accurate inventory of district resources.
