Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a temporary seasonal General Laborer to support field operations, ground clearing, tree removal, and vegetation management. You will lift, load, and move materials, operate power tools, and drive company vehicles as needed.

The role lasts about 6–10 weeks, requiring outdoor work in varying weather, a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and willingness to travel if required. Compensation is hourly and based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Mowing, weed-eating, tree removal experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel out of state.
• Ability to be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting, tree work, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Large debris pickup.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
