Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is a family-owned worker-friendly company seeking a Temporary Seasonal General Laborer to support day-to-day field operations, including ground clearing and tree removal. This role involves outdoor work and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

The position is temporary and seasonal, lasting about 6–10 weeks, with a pay range of $24–$26 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel out of state.
• Ability to be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
• Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting, tree work, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
