Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a great attitude and strong work ethic to support day-to-day field operations, ground clearing, vegetation management, and general labor duties. This temporary seasonal position is expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks.

Candidates must be 21+, have a valid driver's license with a clean MVR for 5 years, be able to travel out of state, and lift 50–60 pounds while working outdoors in

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to follow directions.
• Experience mowing, weed-eating and tree removal preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to travel out of state and be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Must lift 50–60 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting or grounds maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Mows and weed- eats areas as required.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
