Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) seeks a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a strong work ethic to support day-to-day field operations, including ground clearing, tree removal, vegetation management, and general labor duties.

This temporary seasonal position is expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks. Pay ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, with duties that emphasize safety and efficiency in outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel out of state and be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
• Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Large debris pickup.
• Mowing and weed-eating.
• Weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
