A leading consulting firm is seeking Archaeological Field Technicians to join its Cultural Resources team across multiple sites including Nashville, TN. The role primarily involves fieldwork and may include laboratory analysis and artifact management tasks. Candidates should hold a B.A./B.S. in anthropology or archaeology and have at least six months of relevant experience. Successful applicants will need strong communication skills and be willing to travel for fieldwork. This is a temporary position with various benefits including access to health plans.
Qualifications
At least 6 months of experience conducting archaeological survey and excavation.
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate motorized vehicles.
Ability to complete physically demanding tasks in remote areas.
Responsibilities
Perform archaeological fieldwork tasks including surface surveys and excavation.
Duties may include cleaning, cataloging, and photographing artifacts.
Exposure to laboratory research and analysis.
