Job summary

Cooperative Farmers Elevator in South Dakota is seeking a General Laborer to support fall grain operations and deliver outstanding customer service to members and customers.

You will maintain grain quality, assist with loading/unloading, perform basic maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance while collaborating with teams across locations. The role requires strong communication and the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Description

To accurately assist in all grain operations during the fall season in an efficient manner and provide outstanding customer service to Cooperative Farmers Elevators members and customers.

Requirements

General Laborer

• Maintain grain quality
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain dust levels
• Perform maintenance and repairs to equipment
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance
• Measure and track grain inventory
• Perform basic grain handling, loading and unloading
• Ability to dump grain
• Assist with loading and unloading fertilizer

Safety and Compliance

Uphold Company Safety & Compliance policies

• Uphold all cooperative policies
• Attend all employee safety meetings, etc. held as required or scheduled in conjunction with Safety Director and location

Other Duties

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Demands
