Job summary

Elizabethtown Sports Park is seeking a Facility Maintenance Team Member to support the daily upkeep of buildings and grounds in Elizabethtown, KY. This seasonal, non-exempt role reports to the Turf Manager and requires hands-on maintenance and supervision of teammates.

You will perform tasks from cleaning and inventory to facility repairs, grounds care, and coordinating with directors and vendors to keep courts and equipment in top condition.

Qualifications

• Experience with sports facilities and related grounds and equipment.
• General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial and landscaping.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time-management skills.
• Experience using maintenance equipment.
• Willingness to work long hours and varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility.
• Inventory, organize and stock maintenance areas.
• Coordinate cleaning around daily activities.
• Perform maintenance on facility equipment and playing surfaces.
• Coordinate with directors on repairs and vendor work.
• Maintain grounds, trees, shrubs and flower beds.
• Operate and maintain sports equipment as needed.
• Keep maintenance logs and ensure paperwork is up to date.
• Assist Facility Manager with daily upkeep and supervision as required.
