Job summary

Elizabethtown Sports Park is seeking a Facility Maintenance Team Member to assist the Facility Manager with daily upkeep of buildings and grounds at Elizabethtown, KY. The role involves hands-on maintenance tasks, coordinating repairs, and supporting event readiness on a seasonal basis.

The position requires experience with sports facilities, general maintenance knowledge, and the ability to work independently, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with sports facilities and related grounds/equipment.
• General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management.
• Experience using maintenance equipment and procedures.
• Willing to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Manager with daily upkeep of buildings and grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and respond to maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with Directors on facility repairs to minimize disruption of activities.
• Schedule and perform maintenance on facility equipment and grounds.
• Keep maintenance logs and inventory up to date.
• Ensure proper safety procedures are followed during maintenance work.
• Assist with inspections (fire, sprinkler, elevator, etc.).
• Coordinate with outside vendors when needed.
