Job summary

Mt. Baker Ski Area, Inc. is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant to uphold safety and functionality across base areas, lodges and restrooms. You will perform repairs, maintenance, waste management, and support snow removal as needed.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multitask, and willingness to learn. Starting wage is $22.00/hr DOE, with flexible hours including holidays and peak days during the season.

• Must be able to work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to operate vehicles and various other equipment as directed.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance repairs including grease traps, plumbing repairs, drywall repairs, and painting.
• Complete inspections and monitoring of Mt. Baker facilities.
• Complete basic, routine, and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Assist in base area operations during peak times.
• Support and provide assistance to other departments, as needed.
