Job summary

Mt. Baker Ski Area, Inc. is seeking a Feature Zone Attendant to help maintain a safe, organized, and positive on-snow feature environment. You will assist with setup, maintenance, and monitoring of features and zone usage while delivering friendly guest service.

Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable outdoors. You will work both independently and as part of a team, communicating with Supervisors and other departments as needed to ensure a vibrant, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt to field duties.
• Must be 18 years or older at start date.
• Successful completion of department training or ability to complete before first shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per policies, procedures, and practices.
• Provide feedback to improve operations and guest experience.
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
• Knowledge of Mt. Baker policies and facilities.
• Set up and break down the Feature Zone daily, including snow shoveling.
• Maintain clear signage and zone markings for visibility.
• Test features before opening and throughout shifts.
• Educate zone users on proper feature use and safety.
• Monitor on-snow features and guest activity during shifts.
• Communicate safety concerns to Supervisors promptly.
• Support layout changes and mid-season zone adjustments.
