Job summary

Schweitzer is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time events assistant to support both general event operations and NASTAR alpine race activities. You will help set up infrastructure, run registrations, and ensure a fun, safe racing environment for guests of varying ages and skill levels.

Most shifts occur on weekends and holidays, with a focus on friendly, inclusive guest experiences in a mountain recreation setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: English reading, writing and communication.
• Experience preferred in on-snow environments or related event roles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and teardown of event spaces (tents, signage, tables, equipment).
• Assist with registration, guest assistance and crowd management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas.
• Set up and maintain racecourses and timing equipment.
• Operate timing systems and record race results.
• Assist racers with registration and start procedures.
• Monitor course safety and conditions; escalate as needed.
• Provide excellent guest service to attendees and participants.
• Collaborate with ski patrol and mountain operations on safety protocols.
