Job summary

Schweitzer in Sandpoint, Idaho is seeking a Seasonal NASTAR Race Crew member to support both general event operations and alpine race activities, delivering memorable guest experiences. Most shifts occur on weekends and holidays; you will help with setup, registration, timing, and maintaining safe, organized courses for all ages and skill levels. This on-snow role offers a part-time seasonal schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: English reading, writing and communication.
• 1–2 years in an on-snow position preferred.
• Race/event background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and teardown of event spaces, tents, signage, tables and equipment.
• Assist with registration, guest assistance, and crowd management.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of event areas before, during and after events.
• Set up racecourses, gates, fencing and timing equipment; record results accurately.
• Assist racers with registration, start procedures and post-race activities.
• Monitor course safety and conditions; make adjustments as needed.
• Provide excellent guest service and collaborate with ski patrol and mountain operations.
