Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Seasonal Events Associate to support store events, assist with seasonal programming, and enhance the shopping experience for guests. You will engage customers, promote programs, and help run in-store activities and outdoor skills workshops.

Ideal candidates will deliver friendly, professional service in a busy environment and contribute to a safe, organized workplace while participating in scheduled events throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to perform data entry, analyze reports and ledgers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other Associates.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment, with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and recommending products.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Assist with the execution of seasonal events.
• Facilitate in-house outdoor skills workshops.
• Participate in store events as scheduled.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
