Keeneland Association in Lexington, KY is seeking a Seasonal Special Events Associate to support planning, coordination and execution of events during the race meet and peak periods. The role serves as primary contact for assigned events and delivers a world-class guest experience.

This patron-facing position requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and race days, and may move between event spaces around the property to support Keeneland Hospitality and other teams.

Qualifications

• Hospitality, events, catering or customer service experience preferred.
• Event planning or coordination experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced guest-facing environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible seasonal schedule including nights, weekends and race days.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Keeneland representative for assigned group spaces and events.
• Liaise between clients, guests and Keeneland Hospitality team.
• Assist with managing catering orders and event details.
• Greet patrons and provide a welcoming Keeneland experience.
• Educate guests about racing and Keeneland to grow fans.
• Coordinate with departments to enhance race day experiences.
• Provide on-site support and post-event follow-up.
