Scheels in Cedar Park, TX is hiring a temporary seasonal Warehouse Associate. Expect 20–30 hours per week, with shifts 7 AM–9 PM, start Oct 28 or Nov 2, and pay $16/hour.

You will collect and organize products for orders, pack, label, and prepare items for shipping, maintain inventory systems, and support team members. Education: a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 months experience.

• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping.
• Understand brands, shops, and internal inventory systems.
• Execute project work plans to complete the task on time, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Communicate with leadership and other team members to resolve problems or questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Effectively communicate with all associates.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

An ideal candidate will have a minimum of a High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED); one to three months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of both.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates. Associates are expected to follow all safety procedures and perform their job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury.

Schedule: This is a temporary seasonal position. This position will end after 60 days of employment. This position will include 2-3 shifts a week, Monday through Friday, shift would vary between the hours of 7 A.M- 9:00 P.M, and must be available for either ‘A’ or ‘B’ below weekend requirements. Saturday shifts will vary between 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. and Sunday 7:00 A.M - 6:00 P.M. Applicants can expect a range of 20-30 hours per week as a minimum, but can work up to 40. We are looking for a start date of either Oct 28th or Nov 2nd.

Pay: $16.
