Job summary

You will prepare and maintain equipment, document results in the EMR, verify orders and consents, and assist with TEEs as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of echocardiography or cardiac sonography experience required.
• BCLS certification within first 7 days of employment.
• RDMS or RDCS preferred
• RCS preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies including 2-D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images; post-exercise imaging within 60 seconds.
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Document preliminary reports and patient information in EMR.
• Verify patient identity, orders, and consents before procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for timely evaluation and interpretation.
• Demonstrate age-specific care and adapt imaging as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with policies.
