Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a part-time Christmas Driver for the Chicago Temple Corps. This role provides transportation and coordination for the kettle season, promoting a positive work atmosphere and professional conduct with clients, staff, and volunteers.

Responsibilities include transporting bellringers and kettles, maintaining equipment, logging drop-offs, safeguarding monies, and assisting with Angel Tree pickups, all while following established

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1 year's related experience with a good knowledge of the area.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Clearance of TSA MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bellringers and kettles to and from sites.
• Help to maintain equipment, checking that all Bellringers are clean and presentable.
• Coordinate with Corps Officers on all disciplinary problems.
• Log drop off & pick up times of Bellringers on route sheet and have Bellringers sign-off.
• Conduct periodical site checks throughout the day to ensure that Bellringers are working.
• Assist with daily counting of monies as needed.
• Secure monies at all times.
• Assist with Angel Tree Toy pick up as needed
• Ensure compliance with all procedures related to assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
