The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a Christmas Kettle Driver to transport Bell Ringers, equipment, and donations across kettles during the Christmas Campaign. The role requires good moral character and friendly public interaction.

Responsibilities include securing funds, site checks, and assisting with gear distribution while adhering to Safe from Harm policies; local travel is required. You must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for The Salvation Army mission.
• Must pass pre-employment background inquiry and annual motor vehicle check with a valid driver's license.
• Proficient knowledge of roads in the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bell Ringers, equipment (kettles, aprons, badges, bells, kettle stands, etc.) and donations to and from kettle sites.
• Provide aprons, badges, kettles, and bells to Bell Ringers and collect them at end of each shift.
• Conduct periodical site checks to ensure Bell Ringers are present as assigned.
• Secure monies at all times.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned and fueled at end of each shift.
• Maintain positive work atmosphere and professional communication practices.
• Maintain compliance in The Salvation Army's Safe from Harm Certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to Seasonal Christmas activities.
