Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Dock Hand for Thompson Boat Center for the 2026 boating season (August–November). The role supports all boathouse services, focusing on guest safety, dock cleanliness, and welcoming customer service in an outdoor setting.

Work includes assisting guests on and off boats, basic maintenance, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment. Part-time seasonal position requiring weekend availability; compensation is 18.40 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Partial high school education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe environment at the boating area following procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with docking of boats and safely help customers on and off rental equipment.
• Rinsing and washing rental equipment.
• Boathouse maintenance including cleaning, weeding, trash removal, organizing, and restocking supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, locker rooms, and gym.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and direct issues to supervisor or unit manager.
• Provide First Aid & CPR to guests if needed.
• Manage receipts, refunds, credits, or changes accurately.
• Report safety issues to management.
• Assist with securing company property, boats, and equipment at opening and closing.
• Perform any other duties requested by supervisor or manager.
