Job summary

Kwik Trip, Inc. in La Crosse, WI is seeking seasonal distribution center staff to accurately pull orders across dry, cooler, and freezer areas for 620+ Kwik Trip locations. You will operate Power Pallet Jack and Stand-on Fork Lift, with occasional hand stacking, and may work in other warehouse areas as needed.

The position offers weekend premiums and overnight pay, with flexible shifts and up to 30 hours per week. Seasons and holidays are included.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Ability to work with others and maintain safety standards.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret numbers.
• Prior order selection and forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pulling orders in the Distribution Center across dry, cooler, and freezer locations.
• Operate Power Pallet Jack and Stand-on Fork Lift as needed; some hand stacking.
• Support other warehouse areas and adapt to varying shifts and schedules.

Job description

One of Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Distribution Centers is in La Crosse, WI. The 485,000 square foot facility supplies products for 620+ Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, and Tobacco Outlet-Plus Grocery locations. The Distribution Center operates 24/7, 365 days per year with 420+ co-workers on two primary shifts.

Join our Seasonal Distribution Center crew where you will be responsible for accurately pulling orders in our Distribution Center within our dry, cooler, and freezer locations to support to our retail locations. The position involves using a Power Pallet Jack, Stand on Fork Lift, some hand stacking. Note: This co-worker will work in other areas of the warehouse as needed.

This position offers a $5 an hour premium for working weekends (7:30pm Friday through 6:59am on Monday) as well as a $2 premium for working overnights.

Qualifications:

• Prior order section, Fork Lift, Power Pallet Jack and Reach Lift experience is a plus.

Physical qualifications: lift/carry up to 60 pounds to 60 inches, 40 pounds to 72 inches, and 20 pounds to 82"; push/pull 60 pounds of force; bend, twist, reach, stoop frequently; work in -20 – 90+ degree F temperatures

Work Schedule: Variable shifts, up to 30 hours per week. 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available with weekends included September through May. This schedule does include holidays as well. Candidates are required to commit to at least 1 weekend day per week.
