Job description

Job Title: Seasonal Material Handler - La Crosse Distribution Center at Kwik Trip, Inc.

Join our team as a Seasonal Material Handler at the La Crosse Distribution Center. This position involves accurately pulling orders within our dry, cooler, and freezer areas to support our retail locations. Responsibilities include operating equipment such as Power Pallet Jack, Stand-on Fork Lift, and hand stacking. Flexibility to work in other warehouse areas as needed is required.

Compensation: The pay range is $22.09/hr to $28.05/hr, with additional premiums of $5/hr for weekend shifts and $2/hr for overnight shifts. Actual pay depends on skills and experience.

Location and Operations:

The Distribution Center is a 455,000 sq ft facility located in La Crosse, WI, operating 24/7, 365 days a year, with over 650 employees across two main shifts.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn and perform various tasks
• Ability to work well with others
• Basic math skills, including reading and interpreting numbers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment
• Experience with order selection, Fork Lift, Power Pallet Jack, and Reach Lift is a plus

Physical requirements include lifting up to 60 pounds to various heights, pushing/pulling 60 pounds of force, and working in temperatures ranging from -20 to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit.

Work Schedule:

10-hour shifts are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends and holidays. Candidates should be available for at least 3 weekends per month and may work over 40 hours during busy periods, such as summer.
