Norman Golf in La Quinta, CA is seeking a dining server for full-time seasonal work. You will interact with guests, take orders, upsell beverages, and ensure a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities include guiding guests to tables, describing menus, and coordinating with kitchen staff to meet dietary needs.

The role requires basic cooking knowledge, a high school diploma or equivalent, and certifications in Food Handling and Alcohol Service. English fluency is essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled.
• Staying updated on current menu choices and kitchen status.
• Handle the table bookings, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details.
• Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks.
• Prepare mixed drinks for service and pour wine at the tableside.
• Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
• Performing basic cleaning tasks and filling in for absent staff.
• Assisting with special events as needed and greeting guests warmly.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Understand products and services available at the Golf Course or resort.
• Must have familiarity with basic cooking skills.
