Job summary

The Honey Baked Ham Company, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Delivery Driver to transport products from our hub store to Pop-Up Retail locations in local areas. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and flexible scheduling to accommodate school, family, and other commitments.

Applicants must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license with a current DOT medical card, and be able to pass pre-employment DOT checks. CDL not required. Weekend and holiday hours are common during the season.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and a current DOT medical card.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, MVR check and DOT background.
• Ability to safely operate a 14 ft. to 26 ft. refrigerated truck for local deliveries.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at HUB store to get product for Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Complete Truck Assessment checklist at the beginning of each delivery day prior to leaving hub store.
• Secure products in the truck using straps or loading bars.
• Safely transport products to Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Place product on the reassembled flatbed cart to be taken into the location.
• Handle expired product and return to home store.
• Complete the delivery manifest checklist and ensure accurate delivery and returns.
• Complete temperature logs to meet product food safety standards.
