Job summary

The Honey Baked Ham Company, LLC is hiring a Seasonal Delivery Driver to shuttle HoneyBaked products from our hub to Pop-Up Retail locations in the local area. Flexible scheduling helps you work around school or family commitments during the holiday season.

The role requires safe operation of a refrigerated truck, a valid license and DOT card, and the ability to pass required screenings. Long hours and physical work are expected during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate a 14 ft. to 26 ft. refrigerated truck for local deliveries.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a current DOT medical card.
• Able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, MVR check and DOT background.
• Knowledge of current DOT requirements.
• Age 21 years or older.
• CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at HUB store to gather product for Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Complete Truck Assessment checklist before leaving hub store each day.
• Secure products in the truck with straps or loading bars.
• Safely transport products to Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Place product on the reassembled flatbed cart for entry into locations.
• Take expired product and place in boxes to return to home store.
• Complete the delivery manifest and ensure all product is accounted for and delivered or returned as needed.
• Complete temp logs to ensure food safety standards are met.
