Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking seasonal team members to support our Grocery, Guest Service, Deli, Bakery, Meat & Seafood, and Produce departments. You will help guests, stock products, weigh and scan items, and keep the store welcoming and organized.

We require a passion for extraordinary service, prior experience in retail/foodservice, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. You must be at least 16 (18 for certain departments) and able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and learn their wants/needs to suggest meal solutions.
• Stock and merchandize products and assist guests across departments.
• Weigh and scan products, handle cash, and provide change when needed.
• Keep carts organized and assist in housekeeping duties.
• Slice and prepare meats, cheeses, and prepared meal options.
• Present oneself professionally and adhere to uniform standards.
