Enterprise Holdings is hiring a Seasonal Return Lane Agent at our Hanover, MD location. The role includes greeting customers, processing returns, and providing accurate receipts while maintaining a neat lot.

The position offers evening shifts with a $1.00 shift differential for late hours and up to a $1,000 monthly bonus based on performance. Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, documenting issues, and ensuring proper vehicle handling and movement within the lot.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of prior customer service experience in the last 5 years, preferably in retail or restaurant settings.
• Must have a valid US driver's license for at least 1 year.
• Background check including driving, with limited moving violations and no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Shift schedules: 6:00pm - 2:30am Fri-Tue and 12:00pm - 8:30pm Sun-Thu.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the lot using prescribed dialogue.
• Inspect vehicles and note any damages or belongings; direct to counter for reports.
• Explain charges and provide accurate receipts to customers.
• Provide information about transportation to the airport terminal professionally.
• Thank customers and gauge satisfaction; document any issues.
• Ensure vehicle fueling status and service alerts are noted.
• Keep the lot organized for easy access and flow of traffic.
• Attend to duties to improve performance and punctuality.

The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Seasonal Return Lane Agent. The Return Lane Agent will provide superior, friendly, efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process as it applies to this position.

This is a seasonal position. This position can not exceed 6 months.

Pay: The starting compensation for this job is $18 / hr. Employees can earn up to $1000 per month in performance bonus for service and sales

• Any hours worked between 10PM-7AM are eligible for $1.00 shift differential.

• 6:00pm - 2:30am Friday - Tuesday (Wednesday/Thursday Off)
• 12:00pm - 8:30pm Sunday - Thursday (Friday/Saturday Off)

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue as they arrive on the lot.
• Remind customer to check for personal belongings. Identify any items found in the vehicle with a unit number, date, time and turn into lost and found.
• Advise and review rental charges; and provide an accurate receipt to the customer.
• Provide information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport terminal.
• Thank customers using the prescribed dialogue.
• Inquire about service, satisfaction and document dissatisfaction.
• Discreetly check vehicle for damage on incoming vehicles and direct customer to counter for completion of damage/loss report.
• Use of proper statement to determine if vehicle is being returned with full tank of gas.
• Complete a service alert for any mechanical and or body damage communicated by the customers.
• Identify vehicles, which are on system hold for turnback, time or mileage, recall, or any other special lock and verify their movement to the proper lot location.
• Identify and tag vehicles that have been flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location.
• Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Must have a minimum of 1 year prior customer service experiencein the last 5 years, preferably in a retail or restaurant setting
• Must have a valid US driver's license for at least 1 year
