Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a friendly and hardworking Seasonal Customer Service Attendant to join our dining services team. This temporary call-in role supports our dining centers and micro markets across campus locations.

You will handle customer interactions, stocking, machine maintenance, cash handling and maintaining clean, well-stocked vending areas. The position offers $18.00 per hour, with meals provided and training opportunities; pre-employment drug testing applies.

Responsibilities

• Receive delivery of items and stock vending machines with inventory.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Seasonal Customer Service Attendant in Buffalo, NY. This is a temporary call-in position based on business needs.

The pay for this position is $18.00/ an hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products

• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
