Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking a friendly and hard-working Customer Service Attendant in Rochester, NY. This seasonal role supports our dining, micro market and headquarters operations, delivering hospitality to customers and ensuring quality service at client locations and vending centers.

Responsibilities

• Receive delivery of items at client locations.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels.
• Place stock on shelves in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold products.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold/stale merchandise and money from machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas and assist customers with smiles.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Attendant in Rochester, NY. This is a seasonal position only.

The pay for this position is $18.00/ an hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
