Job summary

Kohl's in Waxhaw, North Carolina is seeking an energetic Associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale and through our service processes. You will greet customers, assist with products and services, scan items, bag merchandise and handle different payment methods.

You will follow Kohl’s standards for courteous, fast service, help maintain inventory accuracy, and support training for new hires.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products, operate cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle different payment methods.
• Execute POS and customer service standards accurately and efficiently per guidelines.
• Aim to meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes: cash balancing, change orders, replenishment.
