Job summary

Michaels is seeking an energetic team member for a customer-focused role in College Station, TX. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing checkout transactions, and promoting rewards programs.

You will also support store operations like truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising, while adhering to SOPs and safety policies. Qualified candidates are 16 years or older with retail or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance
• Interact with others professionally; be a role model for Team Members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
