Job summary

Sur La Table in Skokie, IL is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate who will inspire customers through the culinary journey, support daily store operations, and help deliver a best-in-center guest experience that supports strong sales.

You will represent the brand, stay current on products, assist transactions using the POS, assist with opening/closing, replenishment, and visual merchandising, and provide friendly service during a flexible 12–16 hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at time of employment.
• 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable experiences.
• Assist customers, identify needs, and promote relevant products.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Support opening/closing, replenishment, and visual merchandising.
