Job summary

CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region is seeking a Critical Care Tech to support patients in Summit County, Colorado. The role involves direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or physician, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered support on a busy unit.

Full-time (on-site) status is required with at least 80% on-site work. Eligible candidates may receive a seasonal bonus up to $4,000 and a housing stipend of $400 per month for residents in Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic clerical, data entry and math skills.
• Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a Critical Care Tech, you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician, playing a vital role in patient support.
• You will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.
• Your duties include placing orders, receiving and stocking department supplies, and assisting support staff with filing, medical records, and assigned daily tasks.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Qualified external applicants may be eligible for a seasonal bonus up to $4,000!

**$400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties. Must work at least 80% physically on-site at a CommonSpirit Health- Mountain Region facility in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible). More details available upon offer.**

As aCritical Care Tech, you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician, playing a vital role in patient support.

Every day, you will be responsible forfacilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.Your duties includeplacing orders, receiving and stocking department supplies, and assisting support staff with filing, medical records, and assigned daily tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant certifications or experience as a Critical Care Tech, CNA, or medical assistant, ideally in an acute care setting. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of empathetically interacting with patients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
