CommonSpirit Health in Colorado is seeking a Critical Care Tech to support patients under the supervision of an RN or physician, assisting with direct and indirect care.
You will facilitate communication within the healthcare team, help with daily tasks, stocking supplies, and handling basic medical records tasks.
A Colorado EMT license and IV certification are required, along with a HS diploma; a monthly housing stipend is available to full-time residents in Summit and surrounding counties.
As a Critical Care Tech, you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician, playing a vital role in patient support.
Every day, you will be responsible for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. Your duties include placing orders, receiving and stocking department supplies, and assisting support staff with filing, medical records, and assigned daily tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant certifications or experience as a Critical Care Tech, CNA, or medical assistant, ideally in an acute care setting. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of empathetically interacting with patients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
$400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties.
