Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Seasonal Corn Sorter for our client in Rushville, IN to support harvesting operations.

The role involves sorting corn, identifying damaged ears, assisting with husking and cleaning, and maintaining a clean, safety-focused workspace.

Schedule includes six days per week, long daytime hours, with a $500 end-of-harvest attendance bonus.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Good eyesight and reliable transportation.
• Effective communication in English (Spanish & French speakers welcome).
• Attention to detail and reliability in attendance.
• Ability to work in dusty environments and wear ear protection as required.

Responsibilities

• Sort corn to maintain seed quality and remove waste or foreign material
• Identify damaged, moldy, or insect-affected ears and discard accordingly
• Assist with re-husking and kernel cleaning processes as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the work environment, including sweeping and debris removal
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE at all times

Our client, an industry leader in agricultural services, is seeking a Seasonal Corn Sorter to join their team. As a Seasonal Corn Sorter, you will be part of the harvesting operations supporting seasonal agricultural activities. The ideal candidate will have reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Seasonal Corn Sorter

Location: Rushville, IN

Pay Range:

Shift: Monday to Sunday, approximately 6:00am to 6:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Work schedule will be provided by supervisors. Employees will work 6 days per week with 1 day off, with the option to work 7 days if they choose to opt-in for the entire season.

What's the Job?
