Job summary

Manpower's client, a leader in agricultural services, seeks a Corn Sorter to support harvesting operations in Rushville, IN. The role focuses on sorting corn to maintain seed quality, removing waste and foreign material, and assisting with husking and kernel cleaning as needed.

Typical shifts run Monday through Sunday from about 6:00 am to 6:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch, six days per week (seasonal option to work seven).

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Good eyesight and reliable transportation
• Effective communication in English; Spanish & French speakers welcome
• Attention to detail and reliability in attendance
• Ability to work in dusty environments and wear protective equipment as required

Responsibilities

• Sort corn to maintain seed quality and remove waste or foreign material
• Identify damaged, moldy, or insect-affected ears and discard accordingly
• Assist with re-husking and kernel cleaning processes as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the work environment, including sweeping and debris removal
• Follow safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times

Our client, an industry leader in agricultural services, is seeking a Corn Sorter to join their team. As a Corn Sorter, you will be part of the harvesting operations supporting seasonal agricultural activities. The ideal candidate will have reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Corn Sorter

Location: Rushville, IN

Pay Range: $15.89

Shift: Monday to Sunday, approximately 6:00am to 6:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Work schedule will be provided by supervisors. Employees will work 6 days per week with 1 day off, with the option to work 7 days if they choose to opt-in for the entire season.
