Job summary

Manor Vail Lodge is seeking a PM Cook for full-time, part-time, or seasonal roles in Vail, CO. The position offers pay between $20.00 and $26.00 per hour and requires 2-3 years of culinary experience with strict attention to safety and quality standards.

Shifts typically run 1pm–10pm, with weekend and holiday coverage expected. Benefits include Colorado sick/leave, parking, holiday pay, and retirement benefits with company match after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen.
• Active Food handler’s certificate or Serve Safe certificate or ability to obtain it.
• Willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry).
• Experience using knives and kitchen equipment.
• Read and recreate recipes.
• Maintain consistency in food preparation.
• Minimize food waste through cross-utilization.
• Work with a world-class culinary team.
• Create workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling, cutting).
• Keep kitchen sanitized and orderly.
• Store all food and items properly.
• Ensure quality of ingredients.
