Job summary

AdventHealth in Killeen, Texas is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist on a 13 week contract. Shift: Day-Weekend, Sundays through Tuesdays 7am–7:30pm, with a pay rate of $70.00/hr plus shift differential and completion bonus. 13-week contract with infection control and CT protocol responsibilities.

Requires ARRT CT, MRT/TMB, BLS, and RT(R) licensure with 1+ year radiology experience. Position emphasizes safe operation of scanners, EMR/PACS documentation, patient education, and adherence to

Responsibilities

• Practice infection control and use PPE as required.
• Follow department protocols for patient identification and time-out procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Educate patients about the exam and manage workflow to minimize idle time.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adapt protocols for all ages.

Job Description

Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7am - 7:30pm

$70.00/hr Contract Rate + Shift Differential + Completion Bonus

13 week Contract

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

Education

Work Experience

• Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT))[Required]
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) [Required]
• Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with Texas Medical Board (TMB) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
