Job summary

AdventHealth Parker is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the Diagnostic Imaging team. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate records in EMR and PACS. The role requires strong communication, adherence to infection control, and ability to work nights.

Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is offered. Benefits from Day One include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. This is a full-time, on-site position in Parker, Colorado.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; Bachelor’s preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year radiology experience; CT training program completed.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist (RT(R)) required.
• ARRT-CT preferred; BLS required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of CT procedures and scanners.
• Familiarity with EMR/PACS and imaging workflows.
• Strong attention to radiation safety and ALARA.
• Organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
