Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is seeking security officers in Michigan to protect client properties and provide top‑tier service. No prior experience is required; military veterans and those with security-related backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Various shifts from Monday through Sunday; the rate of pay is $17.60 per hour. This is not an armed security position. Officers will perform patrols, access control, reporting, and emergency response while maintaining a professional presence and customer service

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• No felony convictions; may be subject to federal requirements.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 8–12 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification (or willingness to become certified).
• Fluent reading, writing, speaking and understanding of English.
• Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and be a positive reflection of the company.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Maintain a professional security presence in lobbies and reception areas.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as required by contract.
• Control access and verify employee/vendor IDs; enforce entry procedures.
• Ensure a safe environment and report safety concerns to supervisors.
• Assist in emergencies with CPR/First Aid/AED and communicate with responders.
• Maintain effective communication with client staff and site management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
