Job summary

City of Pueblo is seeking a non-exempt, temporary worker to support the Clean and Connected Pueblo campaign from October 19, 2026, through December 31, 2026. The role covers unskilled and semi-skilled tasks, including cleanup and disposal of trash, debris, and refuse in assigned areas, and operating light-duty vehicles and hand tools.

Essential duties include assisting with trash removal, loading/disposal, equipment operation, and carrying out special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to follow City policies and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trash removal including picking up and bagging trash and debris.
• Load and dispose of trash, debris, and refuse.
• Safely operate light-duty vehicles, trucks, and trailers to job sites.
• Use hand tools such as rakes and shovels.
• Clean, maintain, and service equipment and tools.
• Perform duties and special projects as assigned.
