Job summary

City of Pueblo is seeking a non-exempt, temporary worker to assist in the Clean and Connected Pueblo cleanup campaign, scheduled to begin around October 19, 2026 and end by December 31, 2026. Duties include trash removal, debris disposal, and operating light vehicles and hand tools.

The role involves outdoor work in all weather, physical tasks such as lifting up to 96 pounds, and following safety rules. A high school diploma or GED and a valid Colorado driver’s license are required, along with

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trash removal operations including picking up, bagging trash and debris.
• Load and dispose of trash, debris, and refuse.
• Safely operate light duty vehicles, trucks, and trailers to work locations.
• Safely operate hand tools such as rakes and shovels.
• Clean, maintain, and service equipment and tools.
• Perform duties and special projects as assigned.
