The County of Anoka Transportation division is hiring a Seasonal Engineering Assistant - Construction Intern for Spring/Summer 2027 to assist Project Inspector and Construction Surveyor on construction projects and preliminary surveys.

This on-site role at the Highway building in Andover MN offers professional development opportunities and a start around April/May 2027, with varied hours and a clear pathway to growth within the county.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent education.
Enrolled in civil technology, construction management, or civil engineering degree program or related field.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Successfully pass criminal history and driver’s license background check.

Mansioni

Assist Project Inspector and Construction Surveyor on construction projects and preliminary surveys.
Collect and record documentation for materials supplied for construction projects.
Measure removal items and items installed per construction plans.
Complete preliminary topography for future road construction projects.
Perform various other duties as assigned.
