The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division in Rockford is seeking a Christmas Driver to support kettle season at Rockford Corps. You will transport bell ringers and kettles, set up equipment, and coordinate with the Kettle Coordinator/ Corps Officer while upholding the Army’s mission and values.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and willingness to perform light physical work with attention to safety and policy compliance during all shifts.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1-year related experience with good knowledge of the area.
• Valid Driver’s license and good driving record.
• Clearance of TSA MVR check.

Mansioni

• Transport Bell Ringers and kettles to and from sites.
• Help to maintain equipment, ensuring kettles workers are presentable.
• Provide badges to workers when dropped off.
• Coordinate with Kettle Coordinator/Corps Officer on disciplinary matters.
• Log drop off and pick up times on route sheet.
• Conduct site checks to ensure workers are active.
• Assist with daily counting of monies as needed.
• Secure monies at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all procedures related to assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
