Job summary

Ghirardelli in San Leandro seeks a high-energy Store Associate to deliver exceptional guest service, handle cash and card transactions, and merchandise premium chocolate. You will stock, price, and maintain displays while ensuring cleanliness and food safety across the sales floor and back areas.

Previous retail experience is desirable; must be 18+ and able to work nights and weekends with strong work ethic and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong arithmetic, cash handling, and guest-service focus.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and assist customers with selections.
• Efficient cash handling and credit card processing per company policies.
• Stock and merchandise store items, price signs, and maintain displays.
• Keep sales floor and back stock organized and clean.
• Assist with fountain and candy making areas and food safety practices.
• Perform semi-table service and upsell opportunities as needed.
