Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate Company in San Diego, CA is seeking Retail Hourly Associates to merchandise, stock, and deliver exceptional guest service while selling our Premium Chocolate line.

Must be 18+, high energy, reliable, with a strong work ethic. Prior retail experience is preferred. You’ll work various shifts, including nights and weekends, and enjoy a 50% employee discount, tips, and a quarterly bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work all shifts including nights and weekends.
• Previous retail experience is desirable.
• Strong work ethic, high energy and reliability are essential.
• Basic math and good communication skills are required.
• Able to follow recipes and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and up-sell opportunities.
• Merchandise, stock, and maintain product displays.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Assist with candy making, pre-packing, and fountain duties as needed.
• Clean and stock the sales floor and back stock areas.
