Job summary

Bergen Logistics is seeking a seasonal Picking Driver (Cherry Picker) to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment in the warehouse. The role involves operating a cherry picker up to 30 feet, using RF scanning, and maintaining high quality and safety standards.

The position requires experience with order picking, equipment handling, and adherence to Bergen’s safety guidelines. It offers a quick onboarding and potential for benefits if extended beyond 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Proven experience as an order picker or other warehouse position.
• Experience or license in handling order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
• Experience in RF devices.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Great attention to detail.
• Diligent and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cherry picker to access inventory at various heights (up to 30 feet).
• Utilize scanning devices to improve accuracy and efficiency of order picking.
• Execute accurate and timely order picking based on pick lists.
• Adhere to safety guidelines while operating equipment and maintain a safe work area.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report issues.
• Ensure quality of picked and transported materials and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members and management for effective warehouse coordination.
• Meet and exceed UPH targets for picking channels.
