Job summary

Murray's Cheese is seeking a Seasonal Cheesemonger for Grand Central to enhance customer experiences with expert knowledge of cheeses and charcuterie. You will handle sampling, product recommendations, and in-store education in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include prep, wrapping, weighing, inventory maintenance, and event support, plus ensuring food safety and cleanliness while providing outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in cheese or specialty foods preferred.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection, offer samples, and provide expert knowledge on cheeses and specialty items.
• Cut, wrap, and weigh products to customer specifications.
• Guide customers through cheese and charcuterie selection, delivering an engaging experience.
• Maintain inventory, rotate stock, and ensure shelves are neat and priced.
