Murray’s Cheese in New York, NY is hiring a seasonal Receiver to manage store inventory, ensure product quality, and maintain accurate records. The role involves receiving products, data entry in NetSuite, and assisting with orderly stock and rotations.

You will monitor temperatures, perform FIFO/LIFO, handle invoices, and support back-room organization while meeting the role’s physical demands. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and basic math abilities.
• 1+ year of receiving or inventory management experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming products, ensuring quantity, quality, and order accuracy.
• Enter product transfers in NetSuite and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Store products at correct temperatures; follow FIFO/LIFO standards.
• Communicate with vendors and store teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor quality, expiration dates and case conditions; initiate credit requests as needed.
• Participate in stock rotations and monthly counts; assist with inventory management.
• Process invoices and adjust totals using basic math.
• Assist with stocking the back area and maintain organized storage.
• Perform other duties to support team and store operations.
