Job summary

Murray's Cheese in New York, NY is seeking a Seasonal Receiver for the Bleecker location. The role is $20.00-$24.00 per hour, seasonal from mid-October 2026 to mid-January 2027, with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming products, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, condition, and order specifications.
• Perform data entry for product transfers in and out using NetSuite and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper storage of products at the correct temperatures, adhering to FIFO or LILO standards.
• Communicate regularly with vendors, retail teams, and management via phone and email to resolve product discrepancies and maintain smooth operations.
• Monitor product quality, including checking expiration dates and case conditions, and initiate credit requests when necessary.
• Participate in regular stock rotations and assist with inventory management, including monthly counts and product organization.
• Process invoices and make adjustments to invoice totals using basic math.
• Assist with stocking and organizing the back area of the store, ensuring efficient storage and easy access to products.
• Perform other duties as required to support the team and store operations.

Job Overview:

As a Receiver at Murray’s Cheese, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and managing the inventory of all products in the retail store.
